Who is the course designed for?

Anyone wanting to become an arborist, be able to complete aerial rescue or need the skills to climb trees to undertake surveys. Please be aware that to take this course, you must be physically fit and not suffering from vertigo or similar conditions. You must also be free from medication that could affect your safety

The course provides the knowledge and skills required for learners to be assessed for: Level 2 Award in Tree Climbing & Rescue.

Course Objectives:

To enable course members to:

  • Be able to promote Health & safety Legislation & Industry Good Practice
  • Be able to work safely
  • Be able to access a tree using a rope and harness
  • Be able to carry out aerial rescue operations


Duration: 5 Days Training + ½ day Assessment

Cost: £730.95 (including VAT)

Pass rates: We achieve 92% pass rates on Tree Climbing and 95% on Chainsaw from a Rope & Harness courses.
