Level 2 Award in Tree Climbing & Rescue (CS38) & Level 3 Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees Using Free Fall Techniques (CS39)
Who is the course designed for?
Anyone wanting to become an arborist and holding necessary pre-requisites (CS30 & CS31). Please be aware that to take this course, you must be physically fit and not suffering from vertigo or similar conditions. You must also be free from medication that could affect your safety.
The course provides the knowledge and skills required for learners to be assessed for: Level 2 Award in Tree Climbing & Rescue & Level 3 Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees.
To enable course members to:
- Be able to promote Health & safety Legislation & Industry Good Practice
- Be able to work safely
- Be able to access a tree using a rope and harness
- Be able to carry out aerial rescue operations
Duration: 6 Days Training + 1 day Assessment

Pass rates: We achieve 92% pass rates on Tree Climbing and 95% on Chainsaw from a Rope & Harness courses.
