Who is the course designed for?

This award is suited to the professional chainsaw user, who already holds the pre-requisite qualifications, and may be involved in emergency/urgent tree works typically as a result of tree failure, vehicular accident or weather-related emergency. The course provides the knowledge and skills required for learners to be assessed for the regulated qualification: Level 3 Award in Emergency Treework Operations.

Due to the nature of the training a minimum level of fitness is required. Whilst we would not want to disadvantage any learner, it is an essential requirement.

Pre-requsite:

CS30 and CS31 (or equivalent)

Course Objectives:

To enable course members to:

  • Be able to promote Health & safety Legislation & Industry Good Practice
  • Be able to carry out emergency treework operations


Duration: 2 Days Training + ½ Day Assessment

Cost: £507.50 (including VAT)

Pass rates: We achieve 96% pass rates on Chainsaw Maintenance & Crosscutting courses.
