Who is the course designed for?

This award is suited to the professional arborist or groundsperson, who may be involved in emergency/urgent tree works typically as a result of tree failure, vehicle accident or weather -related emergency. The course provides the knowledge and skills required for learners to be assessed for the regulated qualification: Level 3 Award in Prepare & Agree Emergency Treework Operations.

Due to the nature of the training a minimum level of fitness is required. Whilst we would not want to disadvantage any learner, it is an essential requirement.

Pre-requsite:

This course is generally held in combination with the Level 3 Award in Emergency Treework Operations.

To enable course members to:

  • Be able to promote Health & safety Legislation & Industry Good Practice
  • Be able to understand and prepare for and agree emergency treework operations


Duration: 1 Day Training + Intergated Assessment
