Who is the course designed for?

This course is about supporting colleagues undertaking treework operations. It includes the safe preparation and maintenance of work sites, supporting and assisting colleagues working off ground, the manual treatment and disposal of arisings. This standard is for people who are on the ground supporting their colleagues who are working off the ground. (chainsaw maintenance & cross cutting pre-requisite).

Due to the nature of the training a minimum level of fitness is required. Whilst we would not want to disadvantage any learner, it is an essential requirement.

Duration: 2 Days Integrated Assessment

Pass rates: We achieve 92% pass rates on Tree Climbing and 95% on Chainsaw from a Rope & Harness courses.
