UA4 – Application & Removal of Earths / LV Bonds
This course is a must for all those employed in Utility Arboriculture and work in close proximity to overhead conductors that may be live. It is essential that candidates have achieved the UA1 from this qualification.
Course overview
Successful candidates will be able to apply earths to designated lines using schematics/maps and necessary equipment in a safe manner and create a safe working environment. They will demonstrate knowledge of the difference between Circuit Main Earths and additional earths. They will remove earths ensuring correct processes are implemented. Candidates will also apply and remove LV bonds again using correct safety measures and techniques to ensure a safe and efficient job is completed.
