UA3 – Receive and Clear Safety Documents
This course is a must for all those employed in Utility Arboriculture and want to progress. It is essential that candidates have achieved the UA1 and UA2 and is strongly recommended that they hold a current, recognised First Aid qualification.
Course overview
The candidates will use permits to work/permits for work schematic diagrams/ maps to explain safety procedures and be able to explain the role of the safety document holder to a group. They will demonstrate knowledge of the requirements for working adjacent to other live lines and explain the clearing of a PTW to a group of workers. Candidates will demonstrate knowledge of the issue, receipt, clearance and cancellation of a Limitation of Access (LOA) Limited Work Certificate (LWC).
