Service Leavers
TKF has developed qualifications which can be funded by ELCAS and are ideally suited to service leavers seeking a career outdoors in the Land Skills Sector.
These Institute of Learning and Management Endorsed Programmes of Study were designed to provide learners with the necessary practical skills, qualifications, plus relevant business skills to gain a career or start a new enterprise in the Arboriculture or Ground Care industries.
The programmes are modular combining: ILM Level 3 Certificate Starting Your Enterprise units, City & Guilds (NPTC) Level 2 Awards and Lantra Awards’ Certificates of Integrated Training and Assessment (ITA).
Programmes can be completed over four weeks and two options are available:

The TKF purpose built training centre is located within 136 hectares of commercial woodland just 1.5 miles from the popular Yorkshire market town of Holmfirth.
TKF recommend learners stay close by to the training centre to gain the most benefit from these intensive courses. The courses require learners to study in the evening and weekends. When staying locally we also find that learners benefit greatly from the group atmosphere as they support and help each other.
