Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Pruning
This course is for arborists who hold the pre-requisite NPTC City & Guilds units.
Course Overview
Successful candidates will be able to identify, inspect and comment upon key parts of the equipment to be used. They will prepare the equipment for use ensuring the safety of themselves, other people and the environment. Candidates will be asked to comment upon the structure, condition and properties of the tree(s) to be worked upon, and use a chainsaw and other pruning tools whilst maintaining a working position within the crown of a tree using a rope and harness in conjunction with ground staff.
Duration: 3 Days Novice – This is an Integrated Assessment Qualification – £348.95 inc VAT
Duration: 2 Days Experienced – This is an Integrated Assessment Qualification – £243.95 inc VAT
This course can also be completed as a refresher for those who need to maintain their qualification.
