4X4 Professional Off Road Driving – Assessment
4X4 ‘Professional Off Road Driving – Assessment & Correction
A highly experienced 4X4 driver who requires a nationally recognized certificate as evidence of skills/knowledge. An individual assessment will be carried out and those reaching the required standard will receive the nationally recognised certificate.
Course overview
At the end of the course each successful candidate will be able to carry out a risk assessment and understand the main principles of off-road driving. They will recognise the safe working environment for off-road vehicles on typical ground surface conditions. Candidates will be able to assess the suitability of any ground/route and prepare and perform the necessary checks to ensure the safety of a vehicle on and off road. Different ground surface conditions will be covered to ensure candidate safely operates the vehicle and they will have an understanding of the dangers of vehicle recovery.
The remainder of the course programme is designed to accommodate the particular learning needs identified as a result of individual assessment
